Mark is Director of the Centre for Excellence for the Middle East and Arabic Cultures at AUC Libraries. He holds a degree in Oriental Languages, and has been working in academic libraries since 2000. Prior to joining the AUC, he was Director of Scholarly Communications & Copyright Management at Georgetown University. He has an interest in copyright issues, licensing, Open Access, and more esoteric matters like Arabic papyrology.
