PhD, Cambridge University MPhil in English and Applied Linguistics, Cambridge University MA in Teaching Modern Greek as a Second/Foreign Language, Athens University Sophia Zevgoli has taught linguistics, academic writing and Modern Greek as a second language at various educational institutions. She additionally taught seminars on foreign language pedagogy on the graduate program of the Primary Education Department, University of Athens. In her capacity as Scientific Associate of the General Secretariat for Adult Education, Ministry of National Education, she was responsible for designing and implementing EU-funded language programs. She is currently the Director of the Language and Culture Programs at DEREE-ACG.
